Incubator Mission Statement

The mission of the Rose State College Aerospace and Cybersecurity Incubator is to bridge the gap between small businesses and key partners, including the DoD military branches, federal agencies, and aerospace or aero-adjacent industry leaders. The incubator aims to increase the number of small business suppliers serving these sectors, fostering growth and innovation. Additionally, its broader objectives focus on strengthening the local economy by supporting small businesses in Midwest City, Oklahoma City, and throughout the state of Oklahoma, ensuring long-term success and economic impact.

Rose State College Aerospace and Cybersecurity Incubator - Programming Information

The Rose State College Aerospace and Cybersecurity Incubator offers a robust range of programming designed to support the growth and success of small businesses. Tenants receive tailored guidance through monthly meetings with SBDC advisors, who assist in refining business plans, identifying financial options, and providing strategic advice on scaling their operations. In addition to this one-on-one support, the incubator organizes regular lunch-and-learn sessions with resource partners, offering businesses access to industry insights and networking opportunities.

Participants also benefit from peer collaboration through monthly touchpoints with fellow incubator occupants, fostering a collaborative environment where ideas and challenges can be openly shared. The incubator provides specialized training in areas such as legal assistance, marketing strategy, and connecting businesses with research centers to further innovation and competitiveness in the aerospace and cybersecurity industries. This comprehensive programming ensures that businesses are well-equipped to thrive in these demanding sectors.

Room Information

  • The incubator is located in the Tannenbaum building, remodeled to house three office spaces dedicated to the incubator.

  • Each office includes a desk, storage, and separate chairs behind individually keyed doors.

  • Additional amenities include a shared space with a fridge, sink, printer, and conference room. Tenants have access to a co-working space for up to five people.

Facility Information

  • The incubator operates within Rose State College’s Aerospace and Cybersecurity Incubator.

  • The Tannenbaum building offers ample parking, conference room access, and co-working areas.

  • Maintenance and operations are managed by the RSC Department of Operations.

Intake Pipeline

  • Eligibility: Open to start-ups, existing businesses, and those in the ideation phase. Companies must submit a business plan, pitch deck, and supporting documents to be considered.

  • The intake process includes a review of documents and an interview process for successful applicants.

How to Apply

To apply for the Rose State College Aerospace and Cybersecurity Incubator, simply click the “Apply Now” button and fill out the application form. Be sure to collect all the required documentation outlined in the form, such as your business plan, pitch deck, and any supporting documents. Once your materials are ready, email them to ethan.biller@oksbdc.org for review. After submission, your application will be assessed, and selected applicants will be invited to participate in the incubator program.
