Aerospace and Defense is Oklahoma's second largest sector with an economic impact approaching $44 billion annually. The 2022 Mercatus Center study named Oklahoma as the #1 state in the US in readiness for drone commerce. Located less than 1 mile from Tinker AFB and within 5 miles of a dozen international Aerospace and Defense companies, Rose State College Workforce Development partners with industry to provide training and opportunities for Oklahoma workers.
